M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chenni will be used for IPL 2012



M. A. Chidambaram Stadium is located in Chenni of India and the sit capacity of this stadium 50000. This stadium is established in 1916 and this is the oldest stadium of India. The location of this stadium is Chepauk which is near by the sea shore. There is a railway station in the eastern side of the stadium. This stadium is very visible from the elevated railway station. The stadium is the also surrounded by Chepauk Palace and the University of Madras which is very popular of Indian students. First Test Mach had been held on 10th February 1934 among India VS England and the last Test Match among India VS England had been held on 11th December 2008 in the same stadium. This stadium is for the home ground for the Tamil Nadu Cricket team and also for the Chennai Super Kings and this Chennai Super Kings won twice the Indian Primer League (IPL).
